This is a buggy, Would we like the option to have ' Uninstall Application when Resource falls out of scope of this collection' when an application is deployed to a collection, this would save us having to create 2 collections ( install and uninstall) and to deployments. This would save SO much time and reduce the complicity of application management.896 votes
Check out the new uninstall behavior in 1804 tp.
Would like the ability to change the collection for a deployment instead of having to create a new deployment.11 votes
Have a Deployement Type Requirement for an Application Installed\Not Installed without creating a Global Condtion
Instead of creating a Custom Condition of an Application's Existence on specific machines before deploying an app, we could have a drop down that contains the list of already created applications in CM and select the existence or non existence of an application before deployment of said application. Constantly creating Global Conditions is a little strange to me. Thanks.2 votes
When you deploy an application with dependencies, you loose the option to uninstall it from software center. It would be nice to be able to uninstall the main app and be able to choose if the dependencies would uninstall or not.175 votes
There is the ability to specify dependencies for Applications, however the ability to run another Application POST install would be awesome. Often when an application is installed there is a post configuration task that needs to run.266 votesstarted · AdminMark Silvey - ConfigMgr Product Team (Engineering Manager, ConfigMgr, System Center Configuration Manager) responded
This is available as the application groups feature in the 1905 technical preview. We’d love it if you installed it and gave us your feedback.
Some (MSI) applications (e.g. usually CAD software) will be configured via HKCU Registry hive, files in %appdata% or another files in user paths.
It would be nice if a new user logs on (e.g. after OSD), these settings takes place automatically.
This can already be done rudimentary via Active Setup, but not really comfortable (e.g. you have to do logging by yourself, no out of the box feedback in case of success / errors, etc).
Please integrate Active Setup or a new fully solution for that cases as a GUI / Wizard in Application Management.37 votes
