  1. Reporting Part should be improve

Reporting Part should be improve as we are able to fetch only basic reports. need reports likes Installed updates of Machines and SW/HW Reports with accurate details. Software compliance reports should also better. There is lot off option in reports part but not work for customer, please minimize the count of reports as every reports should be good and valuable.

  2. client data source (Windows Update)

Display "Microsoft Update" as data source.
If you enable "fallback to Microsoft Update" for SUP deployment you cannot see this as data source. You can only see "Distribution Point", "Cloud Distribution Point", "BrachCache" and "Peer Cache"

  3. Run a powershell script when an alert is triggered to allow integration with 3rd party tools

The ability to create email subscriptions gives rudimentary notification when alerts happen. The ability to run a powershell script would open the possibility of integrating with 3rd party monitoring and notification systems. Current systems such as Solarwinds, PRTG,nagios/icinga2 and others have REST interfaces that can easily be addressed from powershell. This kind of integration would enable shops that choose not to run SCOM a way to integrate SCCM alerts into their existing monitoring set ups.

Ideally the script call would be able to pass the alert data to the script in some fashion.

  4. SCCM Reports: Add capability to search for compliance by IAVM

Request SCCM enhancement to search for compliance by IAVM# (IAVA, IAVB) for either Enterprise-level or individual site under SCCM reports. A single IAVM may have several KB #'s (ex: MS patches) or there are very limited search capabilities for most 3rd party applications. Capability to capability to search SCCM reports by IAVM# will reduce amount of time in searching/compiling compliance metrics and will allow for quicker reporting of overall compliance.

  6. Capture SMSProvider data for console sessions

Recommend capturing which SMS Provider is used to connect console sessions. Some environments have more than one provider and it is also useful for customers with Site Server High Availability implemented.

Currently SMSProv runs spCMUpsertConsoleUsageData, which populates ConsoleUsageData, and is ultimately consumable for reporting in v_CMConsoleUsageData.

  8. Custom report labels for subscriptions

In the subscriptions I would like to be able to relabel a canned report name to what the report is doing.

  9. Mobile Device User Relationship. Intune Hybrid Setup- Reporting feature to list primary devices for users.

Ability to generate a report in SCCM to list Primary mobile device for a user. Lack of this reporting feature creates additional overhead to MDM Administrators in identifying the user's device to take any remote actions. E.g. The device name could be "iPhone" There can be 100's of device with name "iPhone". This should be a very basic reporting capability that should have been in place. Kindly consider this request and introduce this reporting feature.

  11. Fully allow Win32_DeviceGuard to be queryable in CMPivot

After manually adding Win32_DeviceGuard, https://cloudblogs.microsoft.com/enterprisemobility/2015/10/30/managing-windows-10-device-guard-with-configuration-manager/ some of the properties aren't exposed in CMPivot: Specifically, SecurityServicesConfigured and SecurityServicesRunning. This makes it difficult to gather whether or not CredentialGuard is enabled.

  12. Reporting for File Replication (under Hierarchy Configuration)

It would be nice to have File Replication reporting for large sites. This way you can see all of Site to Site connection information and policies. Thus avoiding having to open and check each one for Rate Limits and Schedules. Maybe also tie in the Rate Limits from the DPs.

  13. Include AdapterSerialNumber in the default class available for MSFT_PhysicalDisk

Please include AdapterSerialNumber in the default inventory for MSFT_PhysicalDisk. According to some internal sources of people who have to monitor and track actual physical hard drives, that is the serial number of the disk, and not the attribute of "SerialNumber".

    Get-CimInstance -Namespace "root/Microsoft/windows/storage" -ClassName MSFT_PhysicalDisk | Select-Object -Property *

AdapterSerialNumber is listed, but it's not within the default choices. I know from previous painful experience, that if I were to "just import a mof" to add that additional attribute, or browse in the console and have it added--upon an upgrade my cheat attempt was wiped out and replaced with the…

  15. fnGetNumericIPAddress

This function allow you to determine the Numeric value of an IP address. Using this function will allow administrator to create reports based on boundaries. Please Grant this execute rights to this function for smsschm_users. This will ultimately lead to better reporting and troubleshooting.

  16. BoundaryEx

This SQL table has to important columns NumbaricValueLow and NumericValueHigh. Using these columns along with the fnGetNumericIPAddress function, you can create reports that will help with troubleshooting of SCCM clients. As such, it would be great to have SQL view create based on this table that can be used for reporting.

  17. Add Schedule column to v_servicewindow

With the SQL view vSMSServiceWindow, there are a column Schedules. This column allows you to see exactly what day Maintenance Window is scheduled for. The correspond supported SQL view is vServiceWindow. However, that column isn’t listed without it being listed there is no way to determine what day an MW applies too.

    Select distinct

    isnull(SWin.Name,'No Maintenance Windows') as 'SWinName',

    isnull(SWin.IsGMT,'') as 'SWinIsGMT',
    SWin.StartTime as 'SWinStartTime',
    isnull(SWin.Duration,0) as 'SWinDuration',
    case
    when isnull(SWin.ServiceWindowType, 0) = 0 then 'No Maintenance Windows'
when SWin.ServiceWindowType=1 then 'All Programs Service Window'
when SWin.ServiceWindowType=2 then 'Program Service Window'
when SWin.ServiceWindowType=3 then 'Reboot Required Service Window'
    …

  18. Hardware Inventory to collect Certificates

It would be nice to have the Computers Certificates in the Hardware-Reporting. Yes i know you can collect that infos via CmPivot, but not all hosts are online all the time, so a Hardwarecollection would be nice.
    Something like this but integrated.

  19. Linked Reports from within other reports - folder reference

Microsoft reports that have other reports linked, don’t work anymore with our modified folder structure. So we applied changes to those MS reports. In this case we didn’t create our own report but modified the MS reports. -> links should be added like this: ..\subfolder\reportname, not using the complete hardcoded folder structure. That way – since the linked reports are always in the same folder or in the subfolder like in the default structure – all links will work no matter in which folder the report actually sits.

  20. create custom ssrs roles for sccm reporting

currently there are two ssrs roles: configmgr report users, configmgr report administrators. I would like to give users a bit more permissions that the standard report users role wo making them administrators.
