  1. SCCM Reports: Add capability to search for compliance by IAVM

Request SCCM enhancement to search for compliance by IAVM# (IAVA, IAVB) for either Enterprise-level or individual site under SCCM reports. A single IAVM may have several KB #'s (ex: MS patches) or there are very limited search capabilities for most 3rd party applications. Capability to capability to search SCCM reports by IAVM# will reduce amount of time in searching/compiling compliance metrics and will allow for quicker reporting of overall compliance.

  2. Be able to trigger a CMPivot query from a SSRS and have the results show both Current and history values.

Be able to trigger a CMPivot query from a SSRS and have the results show both Current and history values.

This would leverage the refresh option within SSRS to update the results.

  3. Add Schedule column to v_servicewindow

With the SQL view vSMSServiceWindow, there are a column Schedules. This column allows you to see exactly what day Maintenance Window is scheduled for. The correspond supported SQL view is vServiceWindow. However, that column isn’t listed without it being listed there is no way to determine what day an MW applies too.

    Select distinct

    isnull(SWin.Name,'No Maintenance Windows') as 'SWinName',

    isnull(SWin.IsGMT,'') as 'SWinIsGMT',
    SWin.StartTime as 'SWinStartTime',
    isnull(SWin.Duration,0) as 'SWinDuration',
    case
    when isnull(SWin.ServiceWindowType, 0) = 0 then 'No Maintenance Windows'
when SWin.ServiceWindowType=1 then 'All Programs Service Window'
when SWin.ServiceWindowType=2 then 'Program Service Window'
when SWin.ServiceWindowType=3 then 'Reboot Required Service Window'

  4. export list of computers from devices

I would like to be able to go to Devices or open a collection of devices, or even from the queries section. Add whatever information I'm looking for in the "Columns to Fit" area then be able to export exactly what I have on my screen into Excel. It would make reporting so much more simple. For those small requests that managers give you.

  5. Provide Reporting Data for OneDrive Known Folder Move Calculation

In 1902 TP you are able to apply a Known Folder Move policy to sync the sccm client agent with OneDrive. Specifically the Desktop, Pictures and Documents folders. it would be great if we had a report that provided us with the Individual size of each folder and the cumulative size of all three. This would allow administrators to assess and plan their upload strategies accordingly.

  6. office 365

Show the Office build number as one of the column options in a Device Collection.

Currently you can view the OS version, it'd be of great help to be able to see the Office version at a glance.

  7. Add a report about # of current online clients

ConfigMgr 1810 has a fabulous chart about # of current online clients per on-prem MP/internet MP/CMG within the last 30 days (Monitoring -> Cloud Management --> Online clients (last 30 days)).

This chart is super useful to figure out how many computers are online /day/time.

There should be a report with the same info so you could:
    - export the chart to different formats
    - schedule the report to run every 30 days to get longer trends about client usage

  8. Make Power BI Reporting Server licensing part of SCCM licensing

Power BI is great to create dynamic reports and dashboards with SCCM data, but the licensing to publish those reports and make them available to your whole department or organization are a nightmare.

This needs to be much easier, so why not just include it in the SCCM licensing, so we can all move away from SSRS and move to Power BI?

  9. Report to output the content of a TS and the descriptions for easy documention

Most places i have worked have wanted the task sequence documented. It would be great if we had a report that would output the task sequence with all the steps and the comments fields.

  10. Color theme

To save companies time when building reports from other environments or being imported, it would be nice to have a CSS theme like template which can be applied to the look and feel of the report.

So this would mean all objects, like pie or bar charts, fonts and frames, tables, text boxes can be changed as soon as you plant a CSS theme configuration setting on it.

  11. Snap to grid

It would be so handy to have a "View Grid" option in the Report Builder design view with a "Snap to grid" feature. This will make designing the reports so much easier to align objects and text boxes etc.

  12. Include MSFT Configuration Manager Advanced Dashboards with Configmgr

Microsoft Premier Field Engineering has created custom Configmgr dashboards. These are available for purchase though Premier Support Contract. I'd like to suggest these be included in the Configmgr distribution.

    Overview
The CMAD solution (Configuration Manager Advanced Dashboards) delivers a data-driven reporting overview of the System Center Configuration Manager environment.
This solution consists of a rich set of dashboards designed to deliver real-time reporting of ongoing activity in your Configuration Manager environment.
Native Configuration Manager Reports are not replaced with this solution, the CMAD solution amplifies the data they show by providing additional data insights.
The dashboards in this solution were…

  13. State messages should be time stamped in the GUI

When I look at the reporting, I'm of course especially interested in the errors.
If there appears to be a structural problem, then a solution is developed and implemented.
However - unless it's a change in the revision of an application - there is no clear way to distinguish between errors from before and after the change.

  14. Track and make available through console (preferably) or SSRS reporting client connection to CMG and CDP history

We want SCCM to track, on a per individual device basis, which devices connected to CMG and/or CDP and when. We need this data for both reporting on effectiveness/utilization of CMG/CDP and also to help identify which systems are connecting versus which ones we expect to be connecting.

Currently, data is tracked only in quantities, for example, I can see how many systems connected over CMG in the past 30 days and how much data was used, but I cannot see which devices were the ones that connected.

    Thank you.

  15. Add columns for created by/date and modified by/date to queries node view

Add date created, date modified and created\modified by columns to the queries node view. Also, enable searching sub-folders from the queries node.

  16. Windows 10 data usage reporting in SCCM database

    Hello,

It would be really helpful to have Windows 10 data usage reporting added to SCCM database. With Windows 10 data usage details available as a GUI on OS itself, managements across IT would be keen have the same presented as a SCCM dashboard report. I see third party apps in Windows 10 store ;like 'Data Usage' giving very nice reports of the same. Really looking forward to have it in SCCM database.

  17. Add LastBootupTime to "Software updates - Compliance by computer" report

The "Software updates - Compliance by computer" sub-report is an easy way to see which computers have failed updates.

Updates often are in a "failed" state because the computer hasn't been restarted recently.

Therefore, adding the last time the computer restarted to the report would make it easy to quickly identify if that is the likely cause of failing updates.

(Additionally, adding "primary user" to the report would be appreciated.)

  18. Installed monitors report

My idea would be for the SCCM team to create a report that collects the monitors installed on the PCs. The report would contain: PC name, last user logged on, last date when somebody logged on, Diagonal Size, Current Resolution, Max Supported Resolution, Monitor Manufacturer, Model, S/N of monitor, Date of manufacture.

Location of report would be : Monitoring --> Reporting --> Reports --> Hardware - Monitors or create the report under the Hardware - Video Card.

Currently there is no such report.......
Please Microsoft SCCM team, make our lives easier :)

You are doing a fantastic job to hear…

  19. Option to copy dashboard / monitoring code. to be able to use in external reporting tool

Consider to implement the option to copy/export the code from a dashboard or monitoring view. this should be the SQL code, that generates the view
This would give the possibility to present the data in e.g. PowerBI, Servicenow, Cherwell etc. and at the same time remove the
requirement for SCCM console access for users with reporting requirements.
The scope could be all nodes under monitorting

At least publish the code in a knowledge base doc. it will be very usefull managing several sites

  20. Report to include memory under 4GB in a specific model

In this section of SCCM: \Monitoring\Overview\Reporting\Reports\Hardware - Memory, it would be great to be able to see all computers that have less than 4GB of RAM, based on model. For example, I want to know how many of the Dell 3440s have 2GB so I can order more RAM for them.
    Thanks!
