  1. Present number of records in a report from reporting point rollen (not Reporting Service oint)

In ConfigMgr 2007 when running a reports from "reporting point" role (not "Reporting Service point") in Internet explorer you see "number of records:32] where 32 is the count of rows presented in the report.

But when using "Report service point" in ConfigMgr 2007 or ConfigMgr CB v1902 there is no presentation of "number of records"

Is it possible for you to add that to all reports?

  2. Product Lifecycle Dashboard reports SCCM nearing end of support immediately following an upgrade

As soon as an SCCM update is installed, the clients for the previous version will be displayed in Asset Intelligence > Product Lifecycle as "nearing end-of-support in next 18 months". Each version of SCCM is only supported for 18 months anyway, meaning if you have 10000 clients then you immediately have a bar of 10000 installs nearing end of support which squashes any other products' bars on the chart - see attachment for an example. Obviously this is solved by updating the clients but this could be a months-long process in some environments so it renders the dashboard far less…

  3. Location field (city) for: Servers, Management Points, Distribution Points

Reporting is limited by the available data. A Location field allows geographic reporting.

  4. Report Subscription Schedule Offset in days/weeks

It would be really great if when configuring a Report Subscription Schedule you could configure it to run based on the number of days / weeks since "patch Tuesday" (especially in countries other than the USA where "patch Tuesday" is actually a Wednesday and not necessarily the second Wednesday of each month).
It takes some time (hours/days) to receive the updates compliance data from all clients after the MS patches release and WSUS sync, so this feature is really important for Path Management Compliance reporting.
I believe there are a lot of ways to customize the reporting process including another…

  5. office 365

Show the Office build number as one of the column options in a Device Collection.

Currently you can view the OS version, it'd be of great help to be able to see the Office version at a glance.

  6. Reporting for File Replication (under Hierarchy Configuration)

It would be nice to have File Replication reporting for large sites. This way you can see all of Site to Site connection information and policies. Thus avoiding having to open and check each one for Rate Limits and Schedules. Maybe also tie in the Rate Limits from the DPs.

  7. Does SCCM have capability to report which software has been installed by the users themselves using Software Center

I find this hard to believe that SCCM doesn’t have capability to report which software has been installed by the users themselves using Software Center

Trying to find out this report for specific PC, not for specific application

  8. Maintenance Window Calendar Overview

Just curious if this could be possible to be implemented using either reporting service or in console but if you could deploy a calendar overview of Maintenance Windows similar to a Gantt chart in which we could see overlapping bars of Maintenance Windows on a timescale in a calendar view along with applicable collections as it's header would be great in terms of planning or discussing changes in a change approval board and/or planning patch management downtime.
The best way would be using reports as that link can be shared with PMO/Decision makers for their review.
    Thanks

  9. vSMS_Boundary

Created(or make this view) a supported version of vSMS_Boundary that can be used with reporting. This will allow admin to local computers not within boundaries and allow for boundary related reporting

Source locations for Applications tend to be missing in v_Packages, yet are there Packages

When you run a SQL query on v_Packages I find there are empty entries for the source location for the Applications

  11. Make Power BI Reporting Server licensing part of SCCM licensing

Power BI is great to create dynamic reports and dashboards with SCCM data, but the licensing to publish those reports and make them available to your whole department or organization are a nightmare.

This needs to be much easier, so why not just include it in the SCCM licensing, so we can all move away from SSRS and move to Power BI?

  12. XLSX

When scheduling a report for automatic generation, have the option to generate the file as XLSX instead of just XLS.

  13. screen resolution

It would be nice to have a reliable way to detect primary screen resolution or primary monitor aspect ratio. This will help management of branded backgrounds and lock screens. Our infrastructure has mixed 4:3 and 16:9 monitors. We don't have a good way to make sure the optimal image is placed in the right spot.

  14. Windows 10 data usage reporting in SCCM database

    Hello,

It would be really helpful to have Windows 10 data usage reporting added to SCCM database. With Windows 10 data usage details available as a GUI on OS itself, managements across IT would be keen have the same presented as a SCCM dashboard report. I see third party apps in Windows 10 store ;like 'Data Usage' giving very nice reports of the same. Really looking forward to have it in SCCM database.

  15. Color theme

To save companies time when building reports from other environments or being imported, it would be nice to have a CSS theme like template which can be applied to the look and feel of the report.

So this would mean all objects, like pie or bar charts, fonts and frames, tables, text boxes can be changed as soon as you plant a CSS theme configuration setting on it.

  16. Inbuilt report to Determine the size of userprofiles for a Specific collection

We are currently planning on implementing OneDrive in our organization and would like to actually get an estimation of size of a User Profile for our site based collections.

I found couple of websites that actually provided me the idea of how to implement it, but it would be better for organizations if SCCM Can actually provide an Inbuilt report to retrieve the Size of User profile for a specific collection.

  18. SCCM Reports: Add capability to search for compliance by IAVM

Request SCCM enhancement to search for compliance by IAVM# (IAVA, IAVB) for either Enterprise-level or individual site under SCCM reports. A single IAVM may have several KB #'s (ex: MS patches) or there are very limited search capabilities for most 3rd party applications. Capability to capability to search SCCM reports by IAVM# will reduce amount of time in searching/compiling compliance metrics and will allow for quicker reporting of overall compliance.

  19. Add Schedule column to v_servicewindow

With the SQL view vSMS_ServiceWindow, there are a column Schedules. This column allows you to see exactly what day Maintenance Window is scheduled for. The correspond supported SQL view is v_ServiceWindow. However, that column isn’t listed without it being listed there is no way to determine what day an MW applies too.

    Select distinct
    isnull(SWin.Name,'No Maintenance Windows') as 'SWinName',
    isnull(SWin.IsGMT,'') as 'SWinIsGMT',
    SWin.StartTime as 'SWinStartTime',
    isnull(SWin.Duration,0) as 'SWinDuration',
    case
    when isnull(SWin.ServiceWindowType, 0) = 0 then 'No Maintenance Windows'
when SWin.ServiceWindowType=1 then 'All Programs Service Window'
when SWin.ServiceWindowType=2 then 'Program Service Window'
when SWin.ServiceWindowType=3 then 'Reboot Required Service Window'
    when SWin.ServiceWindowType=4…

  20. Track and make available through console (preferably) or SSRS reporting client connection to CMG and CDP history

We want SCCM to track, on a per individual device basis, which devices connected to CMG and/or CDP and when. We need this data for both reporting on effectiveness/utilization of CMG/CDP and also to help identify which systems are connecting versus which ones we expect to be connecting.

Currently, data is tracked only in quantities, for example, I can see how many systems connected over CMG in the past 30 days and how much data was used, but I cannot see which devices were the ones that connected.

    Thank you.
