  1. Deployment Start/Deadline Column - Add UTC or Local after the time.

Under the deployment start/deadline column, have the date/time set with a UTC or Local indication after the time. This would make it quicker and easier to understand the deadline.

  4. Represent Microsoft Connected Cache Server as Delivery Optimization

If clients utilize the Microsoft Connected Cache server (formally DOINC), have the client data sources reflect Delivery Optimization as the sources.

  5. Endpoint Protection right click menu clean options

Using Endpoint Protection, it would be nice on the right click menu in Console to be able to either remediate or interact with the Quarantine on the local workstation instead of having to visit the machine in question to either remove or restore.

  6. Remove Direct Membership Rules From Device or User Object

We can right-click a computer from within a collection and select "remove from Collection" but it would be way more useful if we could right-click on a computer (or user) anywhere and select remove from collections and select any collections of which the object (user or computer) is a direct membership of and remove it from them. Alternatively, if we could do this from the "Collections" tob on the device properties. Basically just give us a way to remove objects from collections without having to go to eavch and every collection to do so.

  7. Make "Show Messages" the default action for Status Message Queries

It's so annoying when you forget and double click one of these SMQ
s and it opens up the Properties dialog..

Can you please change the default action so that it actaully shows the messages? (See attached)

  11. Show Client Version in HELP-ABOUT from ConfigMgr console

While working with boot images, I need to click UPDATE DISTRIBUTION POINTS and see if the client within the boot image is the same as the client on the site server. It would be nice if I can see the current (latest) ConfigMgr agent shown in HELP-ABOUT from ConfigMgr console as a all-in-one screen so I would spare some time checking and updating the boot images

  12. Set default option for the warning for a large number of results

I would like to set a default selection for the Warning about a large number of results.... Click OK .
Our system does not have that many devices and I would like a default setting to never see this warning again.

  14. Version number in WQL queries should not be treated as string

At the moment, version numbers in WMI classes are considered as strings, not [version] like Powershell.

This makes creating dynamic collection membership, based on WQL queries, harder to do, as a 'lesser than' operator cannot be used to efficiently identify devices with a specific application at a lower version than a newer revision.

(I.e. 'ProductVersion' property of 'SMSGSystemInstalledSoftware' class, 'Version' property of 'SMSGSystemAddRemovePrograms' class, 'Version' property of 'SMSGSystemAPPVClientApplication' class, etc.)

Example: Citrix Receiver 4.12 is newer than 4.9. if I were to build a WQL queryā€¦

  15. Add description as an item in the "Servers and site system Roles" window it's nor currently available to add to the view

the Description field is not available to Add to the view in the Servers and site system Roles window.
Our site servers have Numbers as names so to ease identification if we could add the description field to the view window we could put in a more obvious name.

  16. scrolling

Any time I am deploying an application or package and I click on a folder to find the collection to deploy to, the focus does not remain on the folder I clicked on. The screen jumps back to the top and I have to scroll down to see the contents of the folder. It doesn't behave this way when you are navigating normally, just when you are deploying software.
Please fix it so it retains the focus on the folder you clicked on like it is in VIRTUALLY ALL OTHER applications. Navigation should be consistent no matter what you areā€¦

  18. When creating NEW AD Boundaries

Since SCCM is reading the AD site, it would make sense that you read each subnet too. Then create a boundary group based on the AD site name and convert all of the AD subnets to IP Ranges and add those IP Ranges to the Boundary group.

The major benefit of this is to allow for better Boundary reporting. Using the table BoundaryEx which listed the NumbaricValueLow and NumericValueHigh value you can easily determine if a client belongs to that IP Range. This is done by using the fnGetNumericIPAddress function.

  19. When entering NEW IP Subnet convert them to IP Range

Since you need to enter the subnet mask when entering an IP Subnet, it would make sense to convert these to IP Ranges. Then add the subnet details to the description. The major benefit of this is to allow for better boundary reporting. Using the table BoundaryEx which listed the NumbaricValueLow and NumericValueHigh value you can easily determine if a client belong to that IP Range. This is done by using the fnGetNumericIPAddress function.

  20. Show the User Account on Console

Would like to see the User account details which is used to open the CM console.
It would be really helpful if we open multiple consoles with using different IDs.
